Information and sources

We receive account names, email addresses, credentials, business submissions, ownership evidence, photos, contacts, hours, menus, reviews, ratings, visit months, replies and reports when you provide them. Passwords are stored as hashes. Some listings come from public business websites, social pages or contributors; sources and research dates may appear on the listing. Public availability does not remove privacy rights. Contact us to correct, object to or request removal of information about you. Servers may process IP addresses, browser details and request logs for delivery and security. Short-lived rate-limit records help prevent repeated sign-in and submission attempts. Do not submit unnecessary identity documents, payment card details, sensitive data or other people’s private information.

Purposes and legal grounds

Where UK or EU data protection law applies, account information provides the service you request (contract). Business details and public-source information maintain a useful, accurate directory (legitimate interests). Ownership evidence, moderation and technical records prevent fraud and protect users (legitimate interests). Rights requests and legally required records fulfil legal obligations. If an optional feature requires consent, we will request it separately and explain withdrawal. We do not use automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Public information and recipients

Published business fields, photos, menus and hours are public. Approved reviews show the display name, text, scores, visit month and date; approved owner replies are public too. Account emails, ownership evidence, private reports and internal notes are not included in public listings or the public review API. Public content may be indexed by search engines and available through our directory API. Hiding the address field does not hide an address written in a description or visible in a photo. Authorised administrators and operational providers can access data as needed for hosting, security and support. Production providers and contact details: To complete: Hosting. Cookies and external services

bb_country, bb_lang and bb_abroad cookies remember country, language and the choice to browse abroad for up to one year, renewed when preferences are saved. WordPress uses authentication and security cookies for the session or configured login duration. Browser controls let you delete or block cookies, which can reset preferences or prevent sign-in. The current custom directory includes no advertising or analytics trackers; additional plugins and launch services must be checked before activation. Country suggestions can use a country code from a configured trusted hosting/proxy service; the custom site does not request GPS. Visitors detected in Algeria can choose WinNaklou or stay here. Google Maps loads only when you choose to display a map. Remote images can contact their hosting servers when loaded. External websites, WhatsApp, maps and social services apply their own policies when used.

Retention and security

Account data is kept while needed to provide the account; listings while relevant; and reviews while published or needed for moderation. Evidence, reports and audit records are kept only as needed to resolve matters, prevent repeated abuse or satisfy legal requirements. Withdrawal hides a review immediately but does not erase the stored record. An administrator processes account and personal-data deletion requests. Backups and legal holds can delay complete removal. Production retention periods, log storage and backup deletion schedule: To complete: Retention. Access controls, password hashing and moderation reduce risks but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and updates

You can update your display name, edit or withdraw a review and submit business changes after ownership approval. For access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objections, contact info@bennetbladi.com. Rights depend on applicable law and circumstances. Consent may be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may request proportionate identity confirmation and respond within applicable legal deadlines. You can complain to the competent data protection authority, including the ICO in the UK or the CNIL in France where relevant. We update this notice when practices change and provide additional notice where required. The revision date appears above.
